The Acts of Ala., 1819, page 95, authorized the issuing of treasury notes to be used for the payment of taxes and fees due the State. These notes did not bear interest and came in denominations of 12 1/2, 25, 50, and 75 cents. This volume lists the number and value of the note. It does not record who received the note nor whether it was redeemed.
